Birth Doula

Stork to Cradle Birth Doulas are trained in the art of birth support. We have a keen eye and intuition on what a labouring mother needs. Our role is to help you and your partner have the most satisfying birth experience possible, from pregnancy into motherhood. We’re there to support and educate you prenatally, tend to your physical and emotional needs throughout birth, advocate for your birth choices and help you ease into parenthood with postpartum support and guidance. Our hands on and informative support allows you and your whole family to relax and enjoy this experience.

Postpartum Doula

Traditionally, families grew in supportive communities, surrounded by helping hands during the early postpartum period. For many of us, in our modern culture, this support system simply does not exist. Stork to Cradle’s Postpartum Doula services fill this gap with physical, emotional and household support from a trained and knowledgeable Postpartum Doula. Our support allows you and your partner to ease gently into parenthood with confidence.

Childbirth Education

Our approach to childbirth education addresses mental, physical and emotional needs throughout pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. There is no right or wrong way to birth a new family. With evidence-based information provided by an experienced Educator, you can prepare yourself for an empowering birth experience.

Some times you need just that extra bit of support, without buying the whole shabang! We get that and these 2 hour consultations are designed for you. Chose between our two in-home consultation offerings; a Birth Consultation to prepare you prior to labor and a Postpartum Consultation to help you get questions answered and feeling comfortable after you’ve brought your new bundle home.
